The McLaren lineup is one of high prices and high power with unbelievable style and aerodynamics that make it easy to enjoy a massive amount of features that are offered on the car. When you look to purchase one of these supercars you are making the choice to select a car that offers massive horsepower and a look that is that of a racecar for the track and not your everyday driving machine. If you are looking to buy any of the McLaren lineup chances are a few thousand dollars one way or the other doesn’t really make a huge difference to you, but many times these supercars offer only a few added features for a price that is increased by several thousand dollars, which can become a bit annoying.
The good news for McLaren buyers is the 650S is now being offered with better feature packages than ever before at more reasonable prices. One of the most prominent examples of this is the aero features that were offered before. In past years the carbon fiber front splitter, side skirts, intakes, rear bumper and mirror casings as a package cost $22,500 over the base price of the car. For the new 2016 models all of this will be standard, saving you money and giving you some fantastic new features to enjoy.
Certainly your next thought might be that McLaren would have raised the base price of the car to reflect this inclusion which now means you have to pay much more so it’s not a real bargain. You would be partially correct in that thinking. The Coupe was priced at $267,900 and the Spider was $282,625, now the Coupe will cost $271,900 with the Spider at $286,900. This reflects an increase of only $4,000 which is great compared to the $22,500 these parts used to cost you.
Other features you can have added and use that savings you now experience would be the addition of a front vehicle lifter, electric seats, parking sensors and a backup camera which are all part of the Enhanced Technology Package and cost you a mere $6,000. On top of this you can add the Track Telemetry App for $2,800 and enjoy the data logging features for track fun, a set of racing seats which will not increase the price at all, and an upgrade to the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires will only cost you an additional $1,300. All of these upgrades will still keep your overall price below what you would have paid for the car with the $22,500 package previously.
Not only will you be able to enjoy the fun of all these additional features at a bargain compared to the McLaren 650S of before but this car also offers ten new exterior colors for you to choose from, giving you a rainbow of fun to enjoy in your new car. No one wants to pay more than they have to and with the inclusion of a great set of features as standard fare on the this car you can feel like you are getting a bargain with this new pricing structure.
