Not only is Buick one of the most popular brands in China but there is a Buick Plant in China that is building the Envision, which is a crossover SUV that will be placed between the Encore and Enclave.  The Envision has already been successful in China, where Buick seems to be one of the most popular brands on the market and now with this new SUV the lineup for this typically American brand from GM has a new offering  to bring into the US.  So far the Envision has sold 127,085 units in China, which is enough of a push to make it perfect to be brought to the US.

We will get to enjoy the Envision beginning in the summer of 2016 which gives us time to learn more about this new crossover SUV that will be the right size for many of us to enjoy.  Although there are already two great SUVs they are so different in size that it feels like you have to make a serious decision between sizes to have the right one for you, but if you need an SUV that is a blend of the two in a size that fits between, there hasn’t been one on the market; until now.

The Envision that we expect to have in the US will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and bring in 252 horsepower that enjoys the benefit of start/stop technology.  This will be the first of the Buick crossovers that will have the HiPer Strut front suspension and the Active Twin Clutch AWD system to be a great performer in the foul weather or on some of the lighter trails that you can find.  This gives us a crossover that brings some forward thinking and new technology in the working part of the vehicle along with some fantastic new abilities.

The new Buick Envision will also keep some of the great technology for safety as a priority as it will be equipped with the Safety Alert Seat and Lane Keeping Assistance.  Other features of this SUV that you will enjoy include the 19-inch aluminum wheels, eight- way power adjustable front seats, a  four-way adjustable lumbar, heated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, tri-zone climate control, console mounted rear vents and a Bose premium audio system to make this one of the highest level premium SUVs on the market.

If the standard features aren’t enough for you the Envision will also offer Automatic Parking Assistance, the Surround Vison 360-degree camera system, OnStar with 4G LTE and built in Wi-Fi, cooled front seats and a panoramic moonroof.  This addition will certainly improve the overall SUV lineup from Buick which is more than sixty percent of their overall sales.  This is an SUV that is well worth the wait to see it come to our markets and be available for us here in the US very soon.  If you are in the market for a new crossover SUV, the Envision might be the perfect choice for you have in your driveway for daily driving and weekend fun.
