The new model of the Mazda3 will be offered on the market later this month and will have a great new starting price and a fantastic look that we continue to admire. This car for 2017 not only comes to you at a price you can afford but with some brand new features that make it a car you want to drive and enjoy. There’s no doubt Mazda has the market cornered when it comes to having fun on the road and they continue to offer us cars that we want to drive, beginning with this new Mazda3.

One of the new features we will see on the Mazda3 is the G-Vectoring Control. This feature will be standard across the lineup and offer us the ability to have the engine refine the steering and handling match the inputs from the driver to make this car even more engaged with you when you drive. This makes the Mazda3 a car that will give you the driving you want to experience in a car that’s lightweight and agile on the road. Now that it will have this G-Vectoring Control you’ll feel like the car knows you, and it really will.

Another way Mazda has enhanced the Mazda3 is through the use of improved sound insulation that is able to complement the redesigned interior. Also new, the interior of this car has moved upscale to give you a car that looks and feels like it belongs on a higher trim level than the basic mainstream compact sedan level. The Premium Package and i-ActiveSense has been added to the manual transmission models on the Grand Touring trim level. This was previously only offered on the models that had automatic transmissions. Now you can have a Mazda3 with all the features you want and still keep the manual transmission if you choose.

The engine lineup has been simplified for this car. The Sport and Touring now come only with the 2.0-liter engine while the Touring 2.5 and the Grand Touring both use the larger 2.5-liter engine for their power. The 2.0 continues to offer 155 horsepower and is used with either the automatic or manual transmission while the 2.5 can use the same transmissions and gives you a full 184 horsepower to enjoy. Both transmissions are of the six-speed variety to give you smooth and easy shifting in the Mazda3.

As for pricing, the base price comes to you at $18,680 and moves up from there. Adding the automatic brings you an increase of $1,050 and the Sport Preferred Equipment package costs another $1,000. The Touring Popular Equipment Package can be added for $1,500 and the Grand Touring Premium Equipment Package adds $1,600 to the price of the car. The i-ActiveSence can be added separately for $1,100 and if you want the i-ELoop you can have this added for $800. As you can see the Mazda3 continues to be a great car for you to drive and now it offers some new features and great technology for you to take advantage of an enjoy.
