The automotive manufacturer has offered owners two choices: stay on board, or take a cash settlement of at least $300k-$400k. Many Buick dealers have opted to stay with Buick. On the other hand, many across the nation have chosen to take the cash. With the future of EVs an unsettled frontier, it only makes sense that some dealers would sell out rather than stay. That said, Buick is set on manufacturing electric cars and electric cars alone. Is this the right move for
the automotive company? The answer is unclear.

Electric vehicles are hotter than an overused battery, and consumers can’t get enough of these new, innovative vehicles. What comes next in the industry of automotive consumerism? Only time will tell.
