2023 Nissan LEAF S

The base version of the Nissan LEAF continues onward as one of the cheapest EV models you can buy. The small size continues to be a factor in whether or not to buy this EV, but the LEAF is the top-selling electric vehicle in the entire world, making it a vehicle that many have found to be useful and acceptable for daily driving. The low driving range and slow charging could be a problem, but the starting MSRP is $28,040 for the LEAF.

2023 MINI Cooper SE

This model is the electrified version of the MINI Cooper, which means the vehicle wasn’t initially made to accept an all-electric powertrain, but here we are. This small hatchback has a short driving range and only 181 horsepower, which means it falls into the slow and boring categories. The driving range is still a bit lacking, and the German elements to the switchgear and infotainment might make you scream, but the ID.4 can be a good option. This electric crossover has a starting MSRP of $37,495.

2023 Kia Niro EV S

The Kia Niro EV is a counterpart to the Hyundai Kona Electric, which is both good and bad. The good part is the decent driving range and impressive style of the cabin. The downside is that this isn’t an EV from the ground up. That said, you could truly enjoy an electric ride in the Niro EV, which has unique exterior styling and a spacious cabin, giving you the look and feel you want.
