Many of the racers that drive a variety of Mazda vehicles around the tracks in this country every year look to compete and win one race at the end of the year. This race is the culmination of racing the Mazda models they love to drive and offer these race teams a special way to continue to enjoy the ride and reinvest in the success they’ve found at the track. With the prize from this race that many have now qualified for, a team could grow their brand and have more cars for the ride on the tracks.

Mazda has done a masterful job of being a leader in the racing world below the levels that we see for most of the races that are shown on television as the top racing circuits in the country and in the world. Because the Mazda brand is one that has been able to offer us an amazing variety of races around the country and has worked to grow the sport at some of the lower levels of the racing world. The racers that have been chosen for the competition at the end of this season are ready to get on the track and see who will be the winner.

The Mazda Racing Details

With a $100,000 prize on the line, there are eighteen racers that have been chosen to race at the 12thannual Mazda Road to 24 Shootout. This is a post-season race that will offer this prize which is in the form of a Mazda Motorsports scholarship to compete in the 2018 Battery Tender Global Mazda MX-5 Cup which is presented by BFGoodrich Tires. This race will take place on December 8, at the Bondurant Racing School in Chandler, AZ where these racers will compete and have a lot of fun trying to capture this title.

Most of the racers that have earned their entry into this post-season race have done so by winning a club racing championship where Mazda is the primary vehicle at the race. Many of the racers compete in the Sports Car Club of America, the National Auto Sport Association, the Teen Mazda Challenge, and the iRacing segments. The task of selecting the team to be able to offer the scholarship is a tough one and will fall to the Mazda Motorsports team, but they will happily crown a champion after the race has been completed.
