2025 Toyota Crown Signia Interior: A Luxurious Masterpiece in the Making

It’s still a year away, but the 2025 Toyota Crown Signia brings an interior build and driving qualities made to rival luxury models.

If you thought Toyota stopped challenging its luxury brand of Lexus when the Land Cruiser departed and returned as a smaller SUV, you’d be wrong. The new Crown Signia is a top-shelf hybrid SUV with packaging to rival the Lexus NX and RX with quality and features that should make any driver look twice to verify the vehicle’s badge. The interior of this new Toyota hybrid SUV is so good that it deserves its own review.

Toyota brings Crown-worthy elements to the United States

The Toyota Crown isn’t a new name in Japan. In fact, this nameplate belongs to a high-class, executive-level sedan that’s been used to drive C-suite players around on the roads in Japan for many years. As a sedan, the Crown never made it across the Pacific to be part of the American marketplace, but with the new SUV, things have changed. The new SUV isn’t a strong departure from the sedan. Instead, it carries many of the same elements you’d be glad to see when you hired the Crown to enjoy a ride to a black-tie event in Japan.

Style matters in this Toyota

The new 2025 Toyota Crown Signia features an interior packed with amazing design elements to make it comfortable, filled with quality features, and easy to admire. You’ll see gentle curves, feel the comfort of high-quality leather, and enjoy the colors offered. The dashboard is highlighted with copper-colored elements, which find their way to the steering wheel and center console as well.

The center console is well-designed with easy-to-reach features. A short gear selector stays mostly out of the way while a wireless charger is positioned vertically ahead of the gear selector. This keeps your smartphone secure giving you a great place to keep your device while driving. You’ll also see cupholders and two USB-C ports within easy reach near the gear selector.

Attractive readings and controls from Toyota

The top of the Crown Signia’s dashboard features two 12.3-inch digital displays. The screen on the left offers gauge readings and is fully configurable to your desires. Above the center stack resides the infotainment screen, which provides excellent connectivity and controls for entertainment and information.

Thankfully, Toyota didn’t do away with physical knobs for some of the controls. You’ll find a volume knob for the audio system and physical HVAC controls to give you the basic controls in a tactile manner.

An excellent look for the seats and doors

The new 2025 Toyota Crown Signia comes in two trims, with the Limited model offering a much more comfortable and attractive interior area. At this trim, you can have caramel leather upholstery across the front seats and doors. Strangely, this color is not present on the door panels, but that’s a minor detail. The seats and door panels provide a premium feel to this SUV with soft-touch finishes everyone is sure to admire.

Passengers in the rear seats have access to front seatback pockets and can adjust the airflow via dual air vents. These passengers also have access to USB-C ports in the back of the center console, making it easy for all passengers to keep their devices charged and ready to go.

Duality of the Crown Signia’s windows

The rear windows of this Toyota hybrid SUV are slim and can make rear passengers feel a little confined. Thankfully, an optional dual-panel moonroof is available and can change that feeling to give all passengers an airy and open feeling while on the road.

A unique cargo solution

Toyota provided a useful feature in the cargo area of the 2025 Toyota Crown Signia interior area. This feature is a flap attached to each of the rear seats that can extend when the second-row seats are folded down. This provides a solid barrier to keep cargo from sliding forward.

Under the rear cargo floor is a secondary cargo space, which is a wide, narrow bin for some tools or emergency supplies that you might want to take with you.

Does this Toyota SUV have a better interior than Lexus?

We won’t go as far as to say the 2025 Toyota Crown Signia interior is better than what Lexus offers, but it comes close. The materials are similar in quality to the NX and RX, but Lexus models tend to feel a little more finished. Still, this new hybrid SUV is ready to provide drivers with a high-class experience every time they get behind the wheel, and that’s a big plus for this hybrid SUV.
