There is a model for every driver, but if you’re not sure which one you need, here is a Ford Lightning trim level breakdown.

The all-electric version of the popular Ford F-150 pickup truck not only delivers impressive performance but also has a long list of tech features and an extended-range battery that can reach over 300 miles of range.

Let’s Start with the Pro

The Pro starts the Ford Lightning off with vinyl upholstery and manually adjustable front seats. It has a 12-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system that works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a 12-inch digital instrument cluster. Other tech features include a Wi-Fi hotspot, navigation, and a six-speaker stereo system.

The Lightning comes standard with forward collision warning, automatic braking, lane-departure warning, and automatic high beam headlights.

A Step Up to the XLT

The XLT builds on the Pro with cloth upholstery to replace the vinyl. It adds an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and it has a leather-wrapped steering wheel. If you want more variety in your entertainment, you’ll appreciate the satellite radio. The XLT is built for taking work on the road with its interior work surface, and it comes with the BoxLink in-bed cargo management system.

The new Flash Has Plenty of Flash

The Flash is a new trim level. It has the extended range battery for a range of 320 miles and 580 horsepower. This trim adds extra adjustments to the driver’s seat, power-adjustments and the front seat passenger will have power-adjustments, too. The touchscreen is updated to 15.5 inches, and you’ll get wireless charging along with an updated stereo system with eight speakers.

The Capable Lariat

Since the Lariat builds on the Flash, it also has the extended-range battery as a standard feature. This trim feels a little more luxurious in the cabin because it has leather upholstery, and it adds an extra layer of comfort with heated and ventilated front seats. You’ll always be able to find your perfect driving position, no matter who changes your seat settings because it has driver’s seat memory settings. On the outside, Ford adds illuminated running boards to make getting in and out safer and easier.

On the safety front, Ford’s Co-Pilot Assist 2.0 with adaptive cruise control, evasive steering assist, and lane-keeping assist come standard. This trim even has Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free driving technology.

Get Luxurious in the Platinum

The Platinum finishes off the Ford Lightning trim level breakdown. This is your most upscale version of the Lightning, with massaging front seats, upgraded leather upholstery, and upgraded trim elements in the cabin. It also has a 14-speaker B&O stereo system.
