Is it time for a new car? Do you have an idea of what you want or do you need to do some shopping? This series of articles has been all about giving you some insight into the cars that will be available at dealers very soon as the new model year begins. If you aren’t sure what you want, take a glance at each that is offered and see what fits your style, driving and budget in order to let you have the new car that is right for you. Here are ten more to take a look at and enjoy.
Subaru WRX STI – The WRX is an amazing car that we have already admired for a few years as a performance based model. With the standard AWD and the STI styling trims the WRX offers a look that might not attract you, but one drive from behind the wheel will give you the feeling of excitement you want from your car. The upgrades for this new year are minor including the EyeSight suite of driver assistance features to make the car even better to drive.
Subaru Legacy – The Legacy gained a major redesign just last year giving it a better offering of features and equipment to enjoy. The active safety aids are present in the Legacy to give you what you need to be able to drive this car better than before. These aids include items such as lane keeping assistance, the Starlink infotainment system, Safety Plus and Security Plus and much more. As a comfortable and spacious sedan the Legacy makes a great choice for your growing family.
Tesla Model S/P85D – This car is classified as a hatchback, but so is the Corvette so that gives you an idea of how much that designation really doesn’t fit. The Model S is a high end luxury model that is powered only by an electric powertrain that can give you up to a range of 270 miles. This is a performance model which is quick enough to reach sixty mph in only 3.2 seconds and offer some of the most enjoyable driving on the road.
Toyota Avalon –The Avalon has been knows as one of the largest and most comfortable sedans in the Toyota lineup for a long time. As with just about any Toyota the Avalon offers a choice of how it’s tuned to give you either a comfortable ride or one that is sporty and fun. Not only are the suspension tuned but you have the opportunity to choose a hybrid powertrain as well to give you better fuel mileage and the benefit of an electric motor with the gasoline backup.
Toyota Camry – The Camry is the best-selling car on the market and has been for many years. It’s easy to see why and with a major upgrade last year you won’t have to navigate a list of changes this year. The Camry answers nearly every question or need we have for our daily commuting, family needs and driving desires when it’s time to take a vacation or head out for a weekend adventure away from home for some fun in the outdoors or to a new fun destination.
Toyota Corolla – This compact sedan is the leader in its class and only falls behind the Camry in overall sales in our market. We talk a lot about cars that are great for young drivers and this is certainly one of them as this car can easily give your young driver the updated safety features that you wat at a price you can easily afford. A few minor changes have been made to this year including 17-inch wheels, hands free keyless entry, push button starting and other noticeable upgrades.
Toyota Mirai – This car is certainly one that has a limited market since it runs on hydrogen fuel or electric power with no gasoline backup. Even though the market is limited the Mirai offers a great deal of great features in order to be a car that can give you some great driving with an alternative fuel option. If you do live near the stations where you can refuel with hydrogen it will only take about five minutes to fill it back up.
Toyota Prius – As the hybrid we have loved for years this is a bit of an uninteresting year for the Prius. Because it’s due for a refresh soon the Prius comes to 2016 with no updates and the production ended in June of this year for the PHEV model. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad car at all; with it this close to a refresh should mean the car in this form has become as close to perfect as it can get making it a great choice before the next update.
Toyota Prius C – This little hatchback is the smallest of the Prius lineup which shows up as a build that is a little different from the rest of the Prius offerings. Once again, this is a car that is near the end of its generation and comes in with no changes but is also one of the most affordable hybrid vehicles on the market today. You can choose from several fun colors on this car including lime green, orange, light blue, yellow, red or electric blue.
Toyota Prius V – As one of the largest models in the Prius lineup the V is a car that offers you the space you want and need with room for the whole family. This car is essentially a wagon, but it’s taller than most wagons giving you the right features you need in order to have a car that is great in value and space. At the base price of $28,000 you can drive a hybrid car that offers fantastic fuel mileage and enjoy the ride and drive with your whole family.
