Do you want to see something you haven’t seen before? Now is the time to do it. According to AAA, with gasoline at less than $3.00 per gallon we’re getting out on the road and you should join the rest in a search for a great new destination you haven’t been to before. The advancements of fuel efficiency couldn’t come at a better time and even though some thought that steady low gas prices would cause us to want to buy vehicles that burn more fuel, that hasn’t been the trend. The trend has been that we have bought more new vehicles in the past couple years than ever before an it’s time to take them on the road to see some of these amazing sights.

National Parks – There are some of the most beautiful national parks and landscapes in the world right here in the US. All you have to do is head out and enjoy the ride to any one of them and see what it has to offer. Some off mountain views over breathtaking valleys and others give you a look at a national treasure along a historic site.

Orlando, Florida – Still one of the greatest and most popular destinations in the world, Walt Disney World, Epcot Center, Universal Studios and Sea World all are in Orlando, making it a place we flock to all year long. Don’t be shy, come on down and see the sights of the “Happiest Place on Earth” or any of the other fun theme parks in Orlando.

Hawaii – You might not be able to drive to the islands, but you can certainly enjoy some breathtaking views when you drive around the islands of Hawaii. There are very few places you can drive on these islands that don’t offer you some amazing views and gorgeous scenery along with some amazing island adventures.

Museums – Whether you want to visit some of the most famous museums in the country in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, DC or Chicago or you happen to learn about a local museum or one that seems obscure, this is a great way to learn about events that happened long ago or the culture of an area.

Twin Falls, Idaho – One of the most amazing natural wonders in the US is the Shoshone Falls and many have flocked there this year to check out this beautiful location where the falls roll over the cliffs to the lakes below. You can certainly make this your destination point along any road trip because not many views will be able to top this one.

Washington, DC – Visiting the nation’s capital is a fantastic way to learn about the history of this great country and to see some of the beautiful monuments that are in place to celebrate some of the leaders we’ve had in the past. Any visit here should include a walk around the Mall or a trip to the Smithsonian as well.

Maine – There’s more than lobsters in Maine and during the fall months a drive through the New England states will give you a look at the fall colors that you just won’t see anywhere else. You can visit some small fishing villages, or just take a long drive from town to town to see one of the most scenic states in the nation.

Atlanta – The city that was burnt down and rebuilt offers a massive amount of night life and activity for you to experience. This great city is home to some of the most famous southern cooking as well as a place you can see nearly every sporting event that’s played today. Take a road trip to Atlanta and you just might want to stay for several days just to sample the food, the people and the fun of this great city.

Chicago – Here is one of the most popular Midwestern cities to visit each year and you can drive in and have a fantastic time as some of the most famous shops in the world as well as viewing sights that are gorgeous. The Chicago skyline is best seen from atop a penthouse restaurant where you can take in all the views. This city has a ton to offer you in the ways of culture, dining, art and athletics to be one of the most impressive places you could ever visit.
