A New Rogue for 2017

The Miami Auto Show may not be the biggest stop on the circuit, but it’s one of the best places for a new model of the Nissan Rogue to show up and it showed up in a big way. As one of the most attractive compact crossover SUVs on the market the Nissan Rogue for 2017 offers a new style front and back to give us a better overall look, a new V-motion grill and new headlights. The bumpers have been updated in the front and the back, but the new exterior look is not all this new Rogue has to offer us.

Nissan offers you the ability to have a motion activated rear liftgate, the full suite of advanced driver assistance items which includes adaptive cruise control, forward emergency braking, and pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring and remote start. This cool additional feature will make this new Rogue feel like it belongs in the class of luxury vehicles and not on the list of mainstream models.

The interior of the Nissan Rogue has also been redone to give you an upgraded feeling and contrasting colors that blend well and offset each other easily. This SUV even feel a bit like a sports car, at least the steering wheel does, as it now features a flat bottomed steering wheel that can be heated and a completely redesigned shifting knob. When you see the new Rogue, if you want to enjoy more of an upgraded feeling, the Platinum Reserve Interior Package offers the premium feeling you’re looking for to give you a compact crossover SUV that has the feel and the drive you want.

While the powertrain will be one that you’re already familiar with, the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine will be used, and it will give you 170 horsepower along with 175 lb.-ft. of torque, the Rogue will be offered in a hybrid version for the first time ever. We don’t have all the information on the hybrid model just yet, but expect it to rank higher than the current 33 mpg of the naturally aspirated version that uses the Xtronic CVT as its transmission. Unfortunately for Canadian customers, the Rogue hybrid will not be offered in Canada, but we will have it in the US and have the ability to enjoy this amazing new SUV on our roads.

The goal of Nissan is to create the Rogue that will be the absolute best-selling vehicle for 2017 in their lineup. Is this the vehicle you’re looking for? Do you need a new compact crossover SUV to give you a great way to get to and from work on a daily basis and have the ride you’re looking for? If so, the new Nissan Rogue just might be the vehicle you want to enjoy and make your own in the upcoming months. Come check it out at your local Nissan dealer as it makes it way to the marketplace after being showcased Miami which was a fitting place for a sleek new compact crossover to be unveiled.
