The TRD name on the side or rear of the Toyota you admire stands for Toyota Racing Development and for the 2018 model year this division of Toyota will be part of what we want on three of the models that have been the rugged trio of top performers we’ve enjoyed for years. The Tundra, Sequoia and RAV4 are all ready to hit the road in 2018 and were on display earlier this year at the Chicago Auto Show to give us a look at some new trims that make a huge difference and bring the TRD features to the forefront for us.

Tundra TRD Sport

This new version of the Tundra will be offered as either a 4×4 or 4×2 models that can be had in the CrewMax and Double Cab that will be powered by the 5.7-liter i-Force V8 engine that offers up 381 horsepower to be an excellent truck for you to drive. The TRD improvements you’ll see to start with is a set of Bilstein Shocks and TRD front and rear sway bars. This truck will also feature a variety of impressive exterior features that will give you the look and feel you want on the road and out on the trails.

The exterior upgrades you’ll see for the TRD Sport model include color keyed mirrors and bumpers that are the same as the exterior color, a color keyed hood scoop, 20-inch alloy silver sport wheels, LED headlights with smoked chrome bezel, Daytime Running Lights, and LED fog lights, a mesh grill with a body color surround and TRD sport bedside graphics. These TRD features accompany the already impressive new look and features offered for the new 2018 Tundra that has been recently redesigned to be better than ever before.  You can expect exciting upgrades for Toyota Tacoma TRD too.
