The Full View of the New Lexus LF-Z EV Concept

What we’re offering for the Lexus LF-Z a full view might be a stretch, but this is the model that will give us the first of many EV models.

Between now and 2025, Lexus plans to have ten new electrified models to give us a great way to drive without using gasoline at all anymore. The LF-Z is an angular model that looks great and was first teased only a few weeks ago.

Current Design Trends Find Their Way to this Concept Car

Several design elements show up in the Lexus LF-Z. Some of these are a set of cleaner flanks, several creases that make the car look like it’s moving when it’s standing still, large wheel arch extensions, and interesting comb-like textures on the front to offer something different from every model in the market. The build is similar to a small SUV but the general shape is more like a car.

The Front We Were Introduced To

The front end of this new concept model showed up in the early teaser images, but now we know more. This new car features a pair of squinty headlights that are shaped like boomerangs and point inward to the spindle grille. You’ll admire the shape of the lights, the grille, and the combed look of the surfaces that finish off this front area.

Going to the Rear Gives Another View of the Lexus LF-Z

When you move to the rear of this concept vehicle, you find a full-width taillight with Lexus spelled out across it. There’s a small fin in the middle of the rear window that has an LED strip which shows up in the lower bumper as well. The word “Electrified” is illuminated in the rear and will likely not be part of the production model if this car makes it to the market.

Clean Looks Make the Interior Right

Going inside the new Lexus LF-Z concept car, we will find a clean approach to the style you see. There are three screens for the driver to see what they need and a yoke-style steering wheel that offers a racing feeling to this car. The functions you’re looking for are found mostly right by the steering wheel to give you an easier way to handle the drive in this car.

There are contrasting colors offered in the cabin which is inspired by the relationship between a horse and rider, which Lexus calls “rein”. A massive panoramic roof is part of the mix as is an augmented reality head-up display to give you the readings you’re looking for. Rear seats can be reclined and offer massaging functions for those that spend their time behind you.

We still don’t know anything about the driving system of the Lexus LF-Z except to say it’s expected to use a dedicated EV platform with the Direct4 technology. There will be a lot more information coming out about this new EV model. Hopefully, most of what this car has will make it to the production line.
