When you’re running behind and need to get the kids to school, a Chrysler Pacifica Hellcat minivan could make a huge difference in your life.

Parents responsible for taking kids to school, grocery shopping, or running errands often fall behind and need a little extra juice. A high-powered minivan has been a joking answer to this dilemma for a few years. The first time a Pacifica with a high-powered Hellcat engine was considered happened in 2020, but since that time, things have evolved. It seems one tuner intends to make this a reality.

Is there a market for such a van?

There’s a market for everything, no matter how small. While there might not be a fleet of Chrysler minivans with a 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 under the hood, someone might enjoy driving such a van. It would be a source of pride and uniqueness in the school drop-off and pick-up line. Stellantis seems to find ways to drop the big Hemi in every other vehicle, so why not the Pacifica? Of course, the idea of such a minivan seems ludicrous, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be done.

And the work begins…

In order to create a minivan with incredible power, a special team needs to get to work and create this vehicle. The tuning team at Speedkore Performance announced a Chrysler Pacifica Hellcat-powered minivan as their next project. This product is called Baba Yaga, an ogre from Slavic folklore that devours children, and it gets much more than the 707-horsepower Hellcat engine. In fact, this team intends to give this minivan a Lilith Package. The package receives its name from the primordial mother of demons, but this package adds insane levels of power to this incredible minivan. These names simply give us an idea of what kind of team the Speekore group is made of.

Serious power for a minivan

If you’re going to drop some insane power into a vehicle, you might as well do it right. The Baba Yaga with the Lilith Package should enable the Hemi-powered Pacifica minivan to produce 1,514 horsepower. This power heads to the wheels through an 8-speed ZF transmission to tear up the pavement with Michelin tires that are wrapped around SRT wheels.

The next big question is, “Which wheels receive this power?” It wouldn’t make any sense to send that much power to the front wheels, although that is the standard layout for the Chrysler Pacifica. A RWD conversion makes sense, especially with the amount of work going into fitting a massive V8 engine under the hood. Of course, the Speedkore team could give this powerful minivan the AWD treatment as well.

A minivan that’s not made for comfort

Most minivans are meant to be comfortable family haulers, providing impressive spaciousness and qualities for the family using the van out on the road. The new Chrysler Pacifica with the Hellcat engine won’t be a comfortable highway cruiser. Instead, this van should be nearly 1,000 pounds lighter than a stock Pacifica. This setup should enable the Baba Yaga to tear up the laps and destroy some tires on the track. That doesn’t sound like a vehicle made for comfortable family driving at all.

It’s a far cry from the standard model

The current Chrysler Pacifica uses the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that is only good for 296 horsepower in the gas-powered models. Choose a hybrid version, and this power drops to 260 horsepower. In this form, the power is sent to the wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid version comes in FWD, and the gas-only model can be had with either FWD or AWD. This regular version of the Pacifica doesn’t hold a candle to the new Baba Yaga, but it’s not supposed to. This new high-powered minivan will be a unique and incredible machine.

Are there any other changes?

In addition to creating a Chrysler Pacifica with a Hellcat engine under the hood, the Speedkore team intends to upgrade the body panels of this new minivan. This could be where much of the weight savings occurs. The body panels could be made from carbon fiber, making them stronger and lighter. The custom-built body should have larger fender flares, a hood scoop, a wider grille, and bigger fascia openings.

This new van won’t become a production model, but imagine the possibilities when it comes to a Chrysler Pacifica with a Hellcat engine producing 1,514 horsepower. This van could be the best way to get the kids to school quickly.
