BMW has a great lineup of cars and SUVs that we love to drive.  The smaller SUVS are not much larger than their platform mates of the cars but offer very similar driving capabilities for us to marvel at.  Imagine that you have the same driving ability in an SUV as you would in the 3 Series or 4 Series car that would really be something to make for a great way to enjoy the ride in something a little larger.  With the 2016 model year we will see a new X4 that will be fun to drive.

With this improved engine installed the time to reach sixty mph will be somewhere near 4.7 seconds and offer a top speed of 150 mph.  This top speed is electronically governed to keep from going too far with the engine and push it beyond the limits this vehicle will have.  The original model that carried this engine, the 35i, offered a governed top speed of only 130 mph.  Carrying the load will be a set of 19-inch wheels or an upgraded set of 20-inch wheels if that is the set you desire.

In order to match this power with control not only do you get these large wheels and a great set of tires to be enjoyed the suspension has been improved.  The improvements include increased front camber, stiffer springs and antiroll bars.  The steering has also been improved in order to have a much better overall control and a great AWD system to make for the right system of driving and steering.  With all these changes from the 35i model, the X4M40i will be one you really want to drive as it will be an SUV that is fun on the road while taking on curves and making turns.
